Miccosukee Volunteer Fire Rescue is proud to be part of northeast Leon County, and we love getting invited to schools, churches, scout troops, neighborhood gatherings, businesses, family events, and community organizations. Whether you need a fire safety presentation, a fire truck visit, a station tour, or just want us to bring some friendly faces and equipment to your next event, we’re happy to help. All our services are completely free—our volunteers are your neighbors, and we’re here to support you.
We customize every visit to fit your needs and audience. Here are some of the most popular invitations we receive:
Age-appropriate fire safety lessons, interactive demos (Stop, Drop & Roll, crawl low under smoke, escape planning), and Q&A with firefighters. Perfect for Fire Prevention Week or any time of year.
Bring the fire truck to a child’s birthday party, graduation party, or family celebration. Includes a short tour, photos, siren demo (low volume), and junior firefighter badges.
Hands-on sessions on fire safety, equipment demos, junior firefighter challenges, and earning badges or patches.
Safety talks for all ages, booth setups at fairs/festivals, fire truck displays, or guest appearances at meetings and fundraisers.
Lunch-and-learn sessions on fire extinguisher use, evacuation planning, or emergency preparedness for employees.
Invite your group to one of our stations (Cromartie, Co-Op, or Heatherwood) for a guided tour, gear try-on, and meet-the-crew time.
It’s easy! Just reach out with a few details so we can plan the best visit possible:
